Paraguay joined Initiative 20x20 in 2019. Although the country does not have a defined restoration goal, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development has designated Carlos Vacca to work with the technical partners of Initiative 20x20 to develop a National Plan for Land Restoration and set a hectare commitment.
