SEEK Development is a strategic and organizational consulting group dedicated to global human development and social impact. It combines deep familiarity of the climate adaptation finance landscape with top-notch functional expertise in management consulting and organizational development for leading non-profit and scientific institutions.
SEEK Development works with its clients to set ambitious goals and develop winning strategies to help achieve them. The group works closely with its clients to craft campaigns that are true to the mission and the identity of the organization, while also developing buy-in and support from essential partners and stakeholders. To support this, SEEK Development brings diverse experience assessing, developing, and supporting the implementation of political advocacy and resource mobilization strategies with clients working in diverse sectors, such as global health, humanitarian, agriculture, climate, and education. Agriculture and climate finance represent fast-growing areas of its work. The team has extensive experience analyzing donor support for climate change action through its Donor Tracker initiative, where it analyzes policies and funding trends for ODA-related climate finance for the 14 largest OECD DAC donors. In addition, through its Donor Tracker Insights, SEEK Development looks at key trends and patterns on climate finance across the donor landscape. The group also uses webinars and interviews in leading publications like Devex to disseminate its findings around donors' development portfolios and the degree to which these portfolios are aligned with climate objectives and opportunities to increase investment across sectors.
At SEEK Development, the team is committed to ensure strong and effective collaborations between all levels of stakeholders and the dissemination of ideas and knowledge sharing to maximize positive impact on human societies and nature. The company is currently participating in various high-level forums on climate advocacy, from the Global Goal of Adaptation to international working groups on doubling adaptation finance and resource mobilization. Joining Initiative 20x20 as a technical partner will allow SEEK Development to both aid and benefit from this network of like-minded actors in a key sector like land restoration and ecosystem conservation. The group offers to provide insights and data on climate finance to support the restoration activities of the Initiative as well as of other partners and stakeholders in the region, whether private companies, NGOs, or research institutions.
SEEK Development plans to initially join the Investment Ecosystem Taskforce and further explore how it can aid the community moving forward.
