Santa Cruz Department, Bolivia

Working with the national government of Bolivia, the sub-national government of Santa Cruz is drawing up a plan with strategies for:

- Passive restoration

- Active restoration of areas affected by forest fire

- Safeguarding rural livelihoods

The Santa Cruz government aims to conduct active restoration of the Chiquitano Dry Forest and the Abayoy area, as well as passive restoration in the same areas, the Chaco Forest, and the Bolivian Pantanal.

1 million hectares
