The World Resources Institute (WRI) and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Latin America under Initiative 20x20 will co-host a business breakfast with impact investors and local and international companies to discuss investment opportunities in restoration in Latin America with a special emphasis on Chile. WRI Senior Associate Rene Zamora Cristales will introduce participants to the new Taskforce on Investments and present an "accelerator" model to prepare potential restoration businesses for investment. Participants will include the ISA, the Corporate Group on Electric Energy Transmission, Road Concessions, and Information and Telecommunications Technology, investment incubators (ACTIVA LAB, Joven emprendedor Forestal) and local impact funds.
