The Dialogue for Sustainable Landscapes in Mesoamerica is a regional initiative for the exchange of knowledge for professionals in integrated landscape management in Mesoamerica.
The Dialogue is aimed at those who work to achieve sustainable development in Mesoamerica, through food security, regenerative agriculture, watershed management, biodiversity conservation, forest restoration, and climate resilience. Participants will join to learn and exchange of knowledge, experience, and ideas to collaborate in strategic planning of integrated landscape management in Mesoamerica.
The Dialogue will bring together diverse communities of practice in sustainable landscapes in the beautiful campus of CATIE in Turrialba, Costa Rica, to learn together through:
-
Exchange of experiences and knowledge: Know examples of other actors who are working in the same direction
-
Mobilize financing: Open doors to look for sources of high level financing in the region; attract financing for integrated management, including public and private investments
-
Increase benefits: Promote collective actions; have a greater incidence from the community level towards the landscape; organize different actors to work together
-
Form strategic alliances: Make links, including initiatives; look how to collaborate with other organizations; form public-private partnerships
