Land Accelerator xPERÚ Impact Days
Bringing together investors and entrepreneurs who restore Peru’s land

The environmental, social, and economic benefits of restoring forests, farmlands, and pastures are enormous. Restoring 20 million hectares of degraded lands in Latin America by adding trees and improving farming practices can yield $23 billion in net benefits over 50 years.
In Peru, entrepreneurs are looking to capitalize on this opportunity, developing innovative ways to build sustainable, prosperous futures for their communities. But they need investment to take their restoration businesses to the next level.
This is why World Resources Institute (WRI) started the Land Accelerator xPERÚ, which brings together entrepreneurs that rejuvenate land through agroforestry, reforestation, grassland restoration, and other profitable techniques. The program, which leans on the expertise of Asesorandes and 3erPlaneta and contributes to Initiative 20x20 and the Andean Forests Program, provides training and mentorship to equip entrepreneurs with the tools they need to attract investment, create more jobs, and restore more land.
Join us on June 22 and 29 for an inspiring and interactive two-day event to meet this group of 25 entrepreneurs and hear their business pitches, their vision for a greener Peru, and what they need to grow their impact.

Reuniendo inversionistas y emprendedores que restauran la tierra del Perú

Los beneficios ambientales, sociales y económicos de restaurar bosques, tierras agrícolas y pastizales son enormes. Restaurar 20 millones de hectáreas de tierras degradadas en América Latina plantando árboles y mejorando las prácticas agrícolas puede generar $23 mil millones en beneficios netos durante 50 años.
En Perú, los emprendedores buscan aprovechar esta oportunidad, desarrollando formas innovadoras para construir futuros sostenibles y prósperos para sus comunidades, pero necesitan inversión para llevar sus negocios de restauración al siguiente nivel. Es por ello que WRI creó el Land Accelerator xPERÚ, un programa que reúne a emprendedores que trabajan para revitalizar la tierra a través de la agroforestería, reforestación, restauración de pastizales y otros métodos rentables.
El programa, que se apoya en la experiencia de Asesorandes y 3erPlaneta y contribuye a la Iniciativa 20x20 y al Programa Bosques Andinos, brinda capacitación y tutoría para equipar a los emprendedores con las herramientas que necesitan para atraer inversiones, crear más empleos y restaurar más tierras.
