The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) invites to review and participate in the process to submit a quotation for the “Mid-Term Review (MTR)” of the project “Use of Nature-Based Solutions to Increase Resilience to Extreme Climate Events in the Atlantic Region of Central America,” known as REFORES - Forest Restoration for Climate Resilience.
For this purpose, it is necessary to hire a consulting firm to carry out this MTR independently in order to:
- Assess physical, technical and financial progress toward the achievement of the expected results;
- Analyze the relevance of the project design, the validity of its intervention logic and its assumptions;
- Evaluate the quality of its implementation and performance according to the criteria established in the Adaptation Fund Evaluation Policy;
- Identify enabling factors, challenges, risks and emerging lessons;
- And formulate practical, evidence-based recommendations to strengthen learning, accountability, adaptive management and decision-making during the remaining period of project implementation.
This call will be open until Wednesday, August 26, 2026. The terms of reference for the REFORES project “Mid-Term Review (MTR)” process are available for consultation on CABEI’s website.
